| Since I, the insider, haven't been around the youth for many moons, or so it seems, I can't easily update on the recent happenings in the youth. However, being away from the Salem MYF has changed my perspective on our youth group. At the risk of sounding cliche or something, I love my youth! I'm so glad that we dont have the pressures to drive the nice car, or wear the right brand, or be the best at volleyball. I've never felt pressure to be a rebel, and I wanna thank each member of the youth for doing their part in this. I also want to take this opportunity to thank the young ladies of our youth for their modesty. The world around us has lost all decency, and as a young man it's hard for us to stay pure. I'm so thankful that I can come to youth stuff and not have all those temptations facing me. Anyways, I love you all and Happy New Year...~David | | |
| Wow, it's been too long! But, does anyone else *strongly dislike*  the new Xanga? Anyways, so the youth group just had our Youth Retreat and it was fun! Thanks to our great cooks and our great sponsers, esp. Nathan and Monica for spending their 5th anniversary with us!  Here are some pics all courtesy of Kita Yoder.

We also went to the Shedd Aquarium as a Mystery Trip, which was fun even after the bus caught fire and we had to evacuate! LOL
Coming months will find us canoeing on August 9th and camping with the Hillsdale Youth on August 30-31.

| Hi, yeah it's been too long....anyways...Basketball season is upon us! in their first game the Blue team beat the Yellow by only 7 points, so it was a close game. Earlier in October the youth went camping and I must say that it was a lot of fun! The sponsers and the social commitee did a good job and we had a good time. The one nite some of us were singing and the DNR had to come and tell us to keep it down LOL! The youth was gonna go leaf raking on Saturday but it got postponed two weeks cuz there wasn't enough leaves off the trees... Sooo thats all for now...Keep Serving God! | | |
